Always Already: Dystopian Temporalities

The past two decades has seen an “ecological turn” in contemporary art ranging from activism to views on speculative/dystopian futures. Through a screening of two recent films by artist-filmmaker Panos Aprahamian, this event considers what The Otolith Group calls “a science fiction of the present.”
The screening will be followed by a discussion between the filmmaker and Hala Auji (EUME Fellow 2021/22). A collaboration with Europe in the Middle East – The Middle East in Europe (EUME).
